KFC

Okay stop right there. I know you must be thinking I'd know better than to post about a product from a fast food chain, but spare some time for this one. I promise it won't be a long one.

Behold, KFC's Double Down. Chicken, Bacon, Cheese, Cheese, Bacon, Chicken. Yes, in that exact order. I had this earlier this year on a trip to New York. Nothing to review here, really. Just wanted to share and I'll let you all imagine the salty-fatty goodness here. It came with a grilled option too, which (supposed to) leave you feeling less guilty; but of course less tasty. My friends and brothers loved it. I did too; for the first half of this beast. The other half went to a waste as I thought it was waaay to salty by then.

This just came out in Australia a few days ago. Not sure when (if not ever) it'll come out here in Jakarta.

Kitchenette

First of all, sorry for the crappy pictures, blame my Blackberry. Let's just get on with the first ever review in the blog.

As you might all know by now, Kitchenette is one of Ismaya groups creations, located in Plaza Indonesia. I could feel Ismaya's signature "atmosphere" upon entering the place, which I like.

On to what I ordered:
Grilled Octopus - This was definitely an appetizer. Portion was small, I didn't want to share :p If I'm not mistaken, there were 3/4 tentacles. It was served with potato salad. Grilled octopus I must say was delish! Would order it again for myself next time. Nothing to shout about the potato salad though it was a nice combination with the octopus.

Hello fellow food enthusiast!

Finallyyyyyyyy!
This blog have been on hold since, I don't know, more than 3 years ago? My friends have been telling me to start a food review blog since ever. Plenty have been coming back and forth to me asking for recommendations of where (and what) to eat. So I guess it's only fitting to compile everything up in there.

Oh yes, so, hello! I'm 19. A full-time Graphic Designer in an Advertising Agency; not sure how I got here. Some eat to live, I live to eat. I've got my dream restaurant all mapped-out in my head; someday I'll make it happen, promise! Those who know me, knows very well that I eat anything. And a I mean ANYTHING (okay, except Pork, as it's against my religion). No one, not even my mom, can tell what I don't like. So if any of you readers would like to take a guess, feel free. And I promise, for that one person who gets it right (I don't even know what it is :s), I'll buy you a day's meal. Yes, breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!

Excuse me though, my few first posts might have poor quality pictures as I'll be reviewing those I visited before this blog was created, therefore having only Blackberry pictures. Will start bringing my camera everywhere I go now! Wish me luck ;)
